Our role in the industry as an impactful influence on the economic, commercial, social and community wide well-being and prosperity.
Maximizing our quotas and conserving the various species that we harvest can be supported by an ecological added value to the marine environment.
It is my pleasure to introduce you to Gitpo' home, an Indigenous led partnership with Home'ster multi-species habitat specializing in the design, sale and distribution of coastal artificial reefs that serve as habitats for multiple marine species. We are located at Eel Ground First Nations with the capacity to serve First Nation communities and their fishers across all territories.
As President of Gitpo'home I can vouch that our reefs are set up to create living spaces for biodiversity to optimize biodiversity conservation improving economic growth, meeting technical and environmental requirements by creating an even more efficient and virtuous habitat.
We, at Gitpo'home, want to ensure that our fisheries further develop and have a sustainable future.
